La Piola Di Reaglie is a charming culinary gem nestled in the heart of Torino, offering an authentic taste of Piedmontese tradition. This rustic trattoria, located on Corso Chieri, invites diners into a warm, "casareccio" atmosphere that feels like stepping into a welcoming family home. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, imbued with the comforting essence of genuine hospitality, making it an ideal spot for those seeking both excellent food and a homely dining experience.
The menu is a celebration of traditional Piedmontese cuisine, thoughtfully prepared with a passion that shines through in every bite. Guests rave about the rich, flavorful dishes such as the boar tagliolini—a standout specialty that captures the essence of local flavors with tender pasta and a perfectly balanced game ragù. The tajarin al ragù di cortile is another famed offering, bursting with rustic, savory notes that linger delightfully on the palate. For those looking to explore beyond pasta, the guancia con purè (braised beef cheek with creamy mashed potatoes) melts effortlessly in the mouth, delivering a sublime textural contrast and deep savory satisfaction.
Desserts here are equally memorable, embodying tradition and sweetness in each bite. The classic Bunet, a Piedmontese chocolate and amaretti custard, garners high praise alongside options like the silky panna cotta and the pistachio cheesecake – a delightful treat for lovers of creamy, rich desserts. The house wine, praised for its ease and taste, pairs exquisitely with the multi-course offerings, rounding out the meal beautifully without overwhelming the senses.
Despite the lively buzz caused by a full house—testament to the eatery’s popularity—the attentive and courteous staff maintain a consistently excellent service, ensuring dishes arrive promptly and with care. Many guests appreciate the genuine kindness of the team, who enhance the experience by being both professional and approachable. The pricing is refreshingly reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food provided, making it an excellent value for those dining near Torino’s outskirts.
Whether you are a local or a traveler, La Piola Di Reaglie promises a heartwarming journey through Piedmont’s culinary heritage. It’s the place to savor hand-crafted dishes that comfort and delight, reminiscent of a lovingly cooked meal in a dear friend’s home. Prepare to indulge deeply, with memories of rosemary risotto, hearty tagliatelle, and decadent desserts lingering long after the last sip of wine. This trattoria is more than just a meal – it’s an embrace of tradition, flavor, and conviviality.

I piatti divini!

I was never a fan of ravioli, but i really enjoyed it here. As a foreigner I was excited with the fixed menu which was chosen by the restaurant. I had chance to taste many different Italian dishes. Rosemary risotto was most memorable. I liked the cozy local atmosphere. I ate so much and I had to roll out of the restaurant after 3hrs full course lunch.

This restaurant is beautiful and rustic. The food was fantastic; highly recommend the boar tagliolini which had me really fall in love. Pannacotta was extremely good and recommended for cream lovers. Finally the House wine almost stole the show entirely as it was extremely easy to drink and very tasty. All around very enjoyable and honestly cheap at €25 pp for 3 courses plus house wine. Will definitely go again. Thank you!
